TEST DROVE AND VERIFIED CONCERN HAS BEEN CORRECTED.
- HOOKED UP AC MACHINE AND RECOVERED .963 KGS. UNHOOKED THE AC LINES FROM THE CONDENSOR TO REMOVE THE RADIATOR. AFTER RADIATOR WAS REPLACED HOOKED UP THE AC LINES AND RAN 10 MINUTES OF VACUUM AND A VACUUM TEST AND THEN CHARGED THE SYSTEM TO .964 KGS. VERIFIED AC SYSTEM WORKS.
- PULLED INTO BAY AND UPON INSPECTION FOUND COOLANT ON THE LEFT FRONT AREA, ADDED SOME WATER AND FOUND IT DRIPPING FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE RADIATOR. RECOMMEND NEW RADIATOR FOR THIS CONCERN. SCANNED VEHICLE AND IT HAD A EVAP CODE AND A LOSS OF COMMUNICATION CODE.

- DISCONNECTED BATTERY AND REMOVED IT. UNHOOKED THE BELT AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS FROM THE ALTERNATOR. REMOVED THE BOLTS AND REMOVED THE ALTERNATOR. INSTALLED NEW ALTERNATOR AND RE INSTALLED REMAINING COMPONENTS. STARTED VEHICLE AND VERIFIED CORRECT OPERATION OF THE CHARGING SYSTEM.

LOWERED VEHICLE AND TRIED TO EXTRACT THE REAR UPPER AND THE BOLT JUST BROKE AGAIN. WATERED DOWN SOME CARDBOARD AND COVERED UP THE ENGINE AREA AND WELDED A WASHER AND NUT TO THE STUD AND LET COOL AND TRIED TO REMOVE THE STUD AND IT JUST BROKE AGAIN. USED CENTER PUNCH AND TRIED TO PUNCH THE CENTER OF THE STUD AND STARTED DRILLING THE STUD OUT. GOT STUD DRILLED OUT AND STARTED TAPPING THE HOLE AND THE TAP BROKE. GOT TAP REMOVED FROM THE HOLE AND TAPPED THE THREADS. INSTALLED NEW STUD. USED A M10 X 1.25 DYE AND CLEANED THE THREADS ON THE FRONT LOWER AND VERIFIED A NUT WILL THREAD ON AND OFF OF THE STUD. GOT THE NEW CAT OUT OF THE TRUNK AND INSTALLED THE NEW CAT. INSTALLED NEW STUDS IN THE BOTTOM OF THE CAT AND INSTALLED THE BRACKET FOR THE TOP HEAT SHIELD AND INSTALLED HEAT SHIELD. NO BRACKETS FOR THE LOWER HEAT SHIELD, REMOVED THE OXYGEN SENSOR FROM THE OLD CAT AND INSTALLED IN THE NEW CAT. STARTED VEHICLE AND VERIFIED NO EXHAUST LEAK.
