- verified concern, hooked up gauges and started vehicle and found low side at 50 and high side flickering between 350-450 indicating overcharged. recovered system and got 2.35 lbs out of the system. verified the charge should be 1.2 lbs and charged to the correct amount. started vehicle and it was blowing cool air not cold. let run in the sun and can only get down to about 76 degrees out the vents. scanned vehicle for any codes that could hinder the hvac and no codes set. looked at live data and found the passenger compartment temp sensor reads 37 degrees which would cut the compressor and also intake air temp sensor 2 reads 32 degrees. at this time i recommend going to a dealer for this concern.
